Who was a better President: George Bush or Bill Clinton?

Forums - General Discussion - Who was a better President: George Bush or Bill Clinton?

Ghost, Montana, Kas, Stof and theprof are so full of win. However, Ghost gets the props on showing why Bill owns all. The Bush fam deserves a trip to the Hague, if you ask me.

if you pay attention to world news as well, instead of fox or even BBC (though international) you would see the reports going on of the corruption in the iraq war.
Guns and munitions dissapearing. Trucks full of money missing, improper distribution of troops.
Of i forgot, Bush also has F*CKED our members in the armed forces. No college money, no retirement, no pensions, no disability, no Veteran support, no returns home, no "1 year of service" honoring.

I personally think Clinton was one of the most horrendous political leaders in history (not just US) I don't like Bush much either, but Clinton makes him look like god.

None of them. They have done very stupid scandals.

Most horrendous political leaders of any country of all time?

Airports and schools take all bomb threats seriously, but when our government gets a serious warning about a threat of an attack from one of the greatest intelligence agencies in the world, and we laugh it off and kick them out of the country?  It just seems backwards to me.

I'm not sure the government should be modeling it's responses to liken that of public schools, and again, I think we serious lack context and knowledge on the warnings.

And Appolose, I think that you can't see the facts staring you in the face because of your personal tastes.

Bush purposely avoided international interaction before September 11.  He had no interest in terrorism, and was working with the Taliban... why don't you do some reading before forming opinions.

Some of these are before he took office, but really show what the pre-9/11 landscape looked like for Bush.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Of course, now that I posted those links, the thread will die because no one will want to explain it...

Come on, explain it.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

He was just mad because I expect the U.S. government to do BETTER than public schools and he doesn't. My comparison was to show that the U.S. government did far worse. He's okay with that.

No he's mad, because he's blinded by some weird connection people have to political parties or politicians, as opposed to having a demand for good governing.
