Not really. Compared to todays games its pretty bad, but it doesn't really suck. Yeah there isn't much of a story, but the gameplay makes up for it. The gameplay is straight and simple, and the Job system is excellent imo. Definitely a good rpg, but a bad FF game. FFIV is more balanced, and is the better game, but that doesn't mean FFIII sucks. Unless you have like extreme, uncontrollable nostalgia for FFIII, I suggust you sell this game and never think of it again. And i'm usually against selling games, but some games just stink up your collection.

TWEWY and FFIV are better alternatives.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is the best Zelda title ever made.
