Well as you can see from two or three posts above yours bunkum was unbanned short after the banning .He didnt say explicitlly that those were NPD numbers .But ,as other posters here can confirm you ,each time he has been asked for data he has provided nigh-on-perfect numbers coming from NPD so everybody naturally assumed those were legit numbers .Other than his previous record we cant know for sure if those are legit numbers or not .The reason for his short banning was probably the data was leaked and that could cause problems with NPD ,although the reason used was that the data wasnt definitive .Not definitive ,but not fake either .Tomorrow we will see more in any case . Ok, thank you for resolve my dude. Today is the day, and actually we don´t know anything about the sales. Talking about the numbers, I don´t think that tihis first advantage for the Wii will be significant in the future. Next months we´ll see if sony drops the console´s price or if Microsoft does it as well, but I don´t see Nintendo being the first at this battle. PD: Claro que es una gran pagina, me parece muy interesante, y ya que te lei poner cosas interesantes de este foro ene l de Meri, pues me dio por pasarme xDD, eso si, me parece que las cifras son algo pro-nintendo en esta web, sin animod e ofender a nadie.

Yes, this is the day! In around 10 hours we should be seeing the latest numbers for Jan and we can see just how well Wii / PS3 have been doing since December sell-outs. Any last-minute predictions? Were bunkums numbers right or was he just faking? Will he come back and post the real ones? Does anyone have the numbers bunkum posted for reference?

Seriuosly what is the problem with NPD numbers? Neilson can tell me by noon the next day how tv shows made out from the night before, I can find out on Sunday how well the box office did fri thru sunday. It's similiar for music and book charts too. Even Japan's Media Create can give us weekly sales figure within four days of a week ending. Why does NPD take 20 days to give us monthly sales? It has to be the absolute worst sales charts system for any industry or country in the world. And the American video market is worth way too much to put up with that. I'm sorry but please tell me a better way is coming.

you know what ? I'm under pressure ! Here, in Paris, I said to everybody that Wii will win (!) Next gen January Charts in NA... actually I only hope NPD will announce its numbers before the time for bed ... (4 ou 5 hours from now...) So, please, Mr NPD, pleeeeeeease !!

Well I don't know what VG Charts plans are but they should definitely try to set up a rival service or something - I don't know how hard that would be??

There not going to create a new system just for the 600 or so of us, just because we can't wait a couple weeks.
