[I had more written, but cut it out; in short, I'm a Ninty > Sony fan, so it may cloud my thoughts a bit]

What did Sony offer that was so great on its first breakthrough, the PS1?  Gran Turismo and Crash Bandicoot?  Sony's games hardly compare with Nintendo's, so it seems everyone has issues with the lack of 3rd party support.  In that case, point all your blame at the 3rd parties for being so incompetent!  In fact, I see plenty of Sony fanboys that aren't even really into Sony games, but instead stuff like Final Fantasy and MGS.  Believe it or not, those franchises can live without the Playstation.  Stop comparing the PS2 with the Wii, because it had a huge following before the console came out.

Lastly, blaming Nintendo for Sony's failures is laughable.  Nintendo didn't force Sony to make the PS3, to try and shove Bluray down everyone's throats, or build a system closer to resembling a computer more than a console.  It's not their fault Sony is losing tons of money so that your favorite games are cut.  That's like pretending the third parties all ditching Nintendo back in the N64 days wasn't Nintendo's fault.  If you feel Sony is getting weak, it's their own fault, so scream at them for it.

Million, you can have a hissy fit all you want, but the fact is, you bought this on yourself! You could have stated you may dislike the Wii, but your presentation of it was horrible. You said you "HATE" the Wii. Couldn't you have chilled down. How in the hell could you HATE anything that is an inanimate object?


So, you can bitch all you want, you just bought this on yourself.


Most of the points you pointed about towards your Wii hatred will be proven wrong this and come next year.

Obliterator, the same could be said of Ps3 if it was winning. Truth is, I was die-hard Sony from the beginning. Major fan of Ratchet, Crash, Jak. But, Sony lost me this gen.


They catered only to Blu-ray enthusiasts while forgetting us gamers. The only Ps3 games to WOWOMFG me so far is Mgs4 and Ratchet Future.


I hope this holiday will change that though.

If people are not allowed to discuss your OP, then why have you made such a post and thread.. it makes absolutely no sense..

if you wanted people to only post to agree with your OP, then again, why does this need a thread, since only one conclusion could have come from your ideal intentions, and that would be a thread of a handful of people replying "me too" in various ways.. and that again puts us back to "why make a thread" since the outcome would have been clear to you prior to creating the thread

I really dont wat, Games like wii fit, selling 6 milliions and metal gear solid in less than 3, i really would dont like than developers stop making games like metal gear because easy games sell millions more, just like wii music will do.
