Over 10,000 hours of Super Smash Bros Melee, and many many more hours of other games, plus several falls, including one from the stairs.

So... yeah, very.

10,000 hours? WTF mate?

Around the Network

My black launch Cube died on me after years of my kids putting there grubby little fingers on the lens... I have 2 platinum systems (1 new 1 used) both work wonderfully.

Nintendo is the best when it comes to repairs. They fixed my wifes DS for free (it was out of warrenty) had games replaced or fixed for as little as 15 bucks...

Now if they could get my launch Wii working..... sent if for the SSBB read error, had it back for less than 24 hours, and instead of not reading the disk, I got disk errors while playing the game... needless to say its on its way back for more repairs. They told me they are going to change out the hardware and transfer all my saves, luckly enough I have a second Wii

Yeah, I'm not sure I believe him either. I did the math and if he got it on launch day in North America that is playing roughly 4 hours a day every day since it came out. Do I believe? It's possible. I know guys who have put that much time into MMOs... more actually. I knew a guy who spent 1.2 years playing EQ in a 3 year period. That is almost 10 hours a day every day.

I'm finding it hard to beleive someone could devote even the much less obsessive 4 hours a day to melee, especially over the longer time period.

nintendo in general is known to make very reliable and long lasting consoles/handhelds, so yea dont worry bout it.

I've had mine for quite a few years and I've never any problems with it. So I'd say it's a reliable console.
