truth be told thread starter, the only game i plan to purchase on the 360 is (ofcourse) GeOW2. It may be your opinion that the 360 has better exclusives, and that's fine, but it's not a fact. Please don't go around stating that PS3 owners have made a "bad choice" as if you know if they value their console or not, it's not your place and will only start fanboy wars, not everyone has the same tastes as you.

Heck, if you want to hear about "bad choices", lets talk about the time I waited in line to buy the Wii just to be dissipointed in it's library?. Is the fact that the Wii will end up being first in just about every country going to make me feel like I've made a "good choice"?

Sony fanboys care...

mm i think the price drop will affect ps3 sales but when i read the list of exclusives man the 360 cant compare to the ps3 on game quality, call me a fanboy or whatever i dont care cause i dont own any of them but i think the 360 exclusives are pretty weak with exeption of GOW2 and Fable 2

and seriously to the original poster if yoou want different games then ps3 is better you got LBP(genre plataform), wipeout HD(racing), Sirne bloodcurse(survival) MGS4 (3rd person), Resistance 2 (1st person) man all of those games are different and all good games 360 has its exclusives but they arent all that different, fps or rpg so plz dont go around saying ps3 doesnt got different genre games because all i see is that ps3 have sucked in the past but now is the one that is going to get the best games

I'd comment but I'm too busy playing two AAA xbox 360 exclusive games that came out last week and both combined cost me a little over 20 dollars.

Braid and Geometry Wars 2...

But to add my opinion to the fire -
360 = best HD console gaming now
PS3 = possible best HD gaming in the distant future (2010 ish)

So PS3 is not out of it...

i was just going to say that^. the exclusive lists of his is full of dribble only a few noteworthy games in the 360 list.

it will be a close call this fall, but i feel ps3 will have the edge.

lowering your price to compete with an already more expensive product isnt a good sign.

still there are people who cling to the jibbersih that ps3 is doomed lol`s

If Sony not use blu ray for PS3 maybe they will win this gen easily. It will be cheaper, easy and cheaper to make game so developer will make game exclusive for PS3 as it has more potential and popular= brand name. But doing this they would lose HD format war with Toshiba.

The Xbox360 price cut hit ages ago and the Xbox360 sales blipped and went back down. This thread is just arguing about 1 country. I admit it has a large effect of the numbers but in this price cut round it is tail end charlie.

As long as they complete good, when 1 dominates then that console's price will stay at a high level and then the next generation console will be higher yet.

What game is so appealing in 2010 (ish) that's going to make the PS3 the best HD console (IYO)? That's quite a vague prediction.
