this is way better than any other console operating space, ie xmb etc etc

i hope they add an option to automatically launch you in home, as apposed to going into xmb 1st

unbelievably this will be free and grafix are quite good also

using your own personal charahcter hanging about with your freinds etc, and meeting up before launching into games multiplayer is an awsome addition to ps3, home should be chockfull of free minigames ie pool, bowling and the like.

im certainly looking forward to this.

Oh man I feel sooo bad for my Xbox friends.... It really is a shame they couldn't wait for PS3 because no way in Hell I'm going to deal with $50 xbl after this....

@Skeeuk: I don't see how it's possible to compare it to XMB, really. XMB is a clean, clear, and quick way to do things and get on with the gaming. Home seems like... I'm not even sure what it's supposed to be. But it looks like Second Life plus ad space minus flying penises.

Not that I don't see potential in Home with stuff like the game specific rooms, like the Warhawk war room deal. I'm just still not sure what Home is supposed to be, exactly.

What is is is a bunch of shit that PS3 does for free that Microsoft makes you pay for that's what it is.

That doesn't really help me understand what they're aiming for. I do understand you can't let a chance to take a shot at MS (or M$, mirite) pass you by, though.
