3 months after launch and it works fine although it has slowed down considerably in load times...dont know why?

That's an occaissional issue with Wiis. My friend had the same thing happen. Go to Nintendo.com and use ther system to email support that you need a repair. I don't know if your waranty is still good this late, but you should be able to find out either on the phone or through their website.

Warranty is a year long, 15 months if you register your Wii at Nintendo.com, so it should be still good.

i do have that whole extended warranty thing and probably will send it in....plus i also do have that grinding and clicking noise that kwaad was talking about, and it sounds horrible...like the wii is scratching or eating the disc but they always eject fine.

but other than those two little problems i  still love my wii

If it wasnt for MGS4, the PS3 is unnecessary

I've had mine since early January of this year.

Occasionally, while using component cords, the TV gets a strange green hue to the color. It all clears up within seconds.

Beyond that minor issue, I've had no trouble with our Wii.

Got mine early May. No problems.
Got one for my parents a couple weeks later. No problems there either.

Got mine at launch, haven't had any real problems.

PS3 17,000,000
PSP 41,000,000

got mine at launch, few problems with wiimote sync' and upload thru wifi. but rest is working great.

Perhaps have a cheaper 3rd party component cable? I use the official Nintendo cable and works perfect. It gives the best images and even Gamecube games on Progressive Scan are breathtaking ;)

No problems yet.

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

Total tally at this point is 6/62 (9.68%) with 3 of those being returned later or can wait (nothing that needs immediate attention). Lots of little syncing and minor freezing problems though.

I didn't count the people that said their friends Wii's are fine or the ones they got for their brother or someone else in the family, but I did count the people that had more than one Wii (two people had two and one person had three).

Mine still works and it's from the launch. As other people have said, I've had a few minor software problems, but I can't recall any since the most recent update and the full version of the internet channel. My problem is one of my three wiimote's speakers seems to have something wrong with it. The sound is all muffled and distorted from it to the point that it doesn't sound at all like what it's supposed to. Might get around to doing something about that, but I have brought it in luggage a few times, so maybe it had gotten impacted too hard some time in there. Two of my wiimotes still use the original straps and have had no problem related to that (One guy did ram one into a table while playing wii sports bowling though, which caused a crack to form on the sensor area, but it hasn't seemed to affect its usability).

mine gives me lots of disc read errors with pbr,but i think it's my pbr disc O_o
