There were several Atari/NES games that were so bad they were unplayable. I won't bother digging those out of the memory archives.
Most recently, MGS3 and its controls irritated me to no end. Same with the RE games. Both series (until the most recent installments) were running control schemes that were horribly outdated.

The Smackdown series has been horrible for years. One strike causes a 10-second animation sequence.
Don't you just wish that a No Mercy 2 (Backlash) or Day of Reckoning (3) would come out? I loved those games a lot.

to be fair, i did preface my comment with a statment that I don't tend to play crappy games. Motorstorm wasn't horrible, just the least favorite game i've played this gen. well, until i remembered i played yaris that is.

Tomb Raider should be included along with that. I never understood its popularity.
