The controller digs into your hand after awhile, the buttons are poorly laid out, and all-around, it's not a great industrial design for a controller. The Wii itself is a blast to play but the controller could have used a few more man-hours in the design stage, methinks. |
The Wii Remote is one of the more comfortable controllers I've held, and I prefer its ergonomics to the Gamecube Controller, Xbox controller, and PS1 controller, so I think we're not calling it out because many of us don't agree :p
I liked the PS2 controller quite a bit, but since I'm a PC Gamer first and foremost, holding any pad with both hands feels unnatural at this point. It's a bit peculiar, but I immediately felt more comfortable with the Wii Mote/Nunchuck because it gave each hand a separate task, just as the Mouse and Keyboard do.
