I'm still undecided whether I'm getting a 360 or ps3 (already had a 360 then refunded it, now I'm "trying" out a ps3) since both have many things that interest me, but recently I realized something - having the more popular console would be a good thing since I like to play online alot, especially with others I know. I live in the U.S and most people I've met have a 360, and I'm wondering why. I'm guessing two of the big things are.....A) Halo3, and B) the price. From my experience, the first thing a "casual" gamer will look at is the price tag. Is there more to it though? I actually never cared about sales info untill I decided to get a console, since I really wanna make sure I get the one that suits me best.
What is it about the 360 that's making it sell alot more than the ps3 here? They arn't very far apart in other countries. Does Blu-Ray play a big part in this? How often is it that people buy a console for entertainment purposes rather than pure gaming?
