I bought one because SSBB looked interesting and so did MKWii. Lots of fun, interactive games keep it one of my favourite consoles ever.

I am a PC gamer need more to say? Especially when a bit of 360 games comes to PC now so it makes me happy that I do get some of the 360 library but then have the wii for good drunk times

I have a Wii, because I liked the idea of motion controls, and loved Nintendo 1st parties. Also seeing as the ps3 was so expensive at launch, the Wii was my choice. I later got the other consoles though. I never would have guessed that the Wii would have sold so much, and get the 3rd party support it has been getting, and that is increasing.

I am a 75 yr. old elderly woman. The PS3 and 360 scare me but since the Wii isn't for core gamers it was perfect.

Because everyone else does. I purchased mine after playing at my friends house last year. Now all it does is collect dust. I am still happy with my purchase then.
