They're ordering teh rankings by who has teh most gold, then if someone is tied for teh most gold, they put up who has teh most silver, then if they're also tied for silver, tehy go for who has the most bronze. I think after that, they order it by country name or something.

also, if we go by weighted total:

3x3 + 1x2 = 11

2x3 + 2x2 + 4x1 = 14 (oh cool, US is ahead that way too, I wasn't sure if it would be china or US that would be ahead when I started that calculation)

lol, that page is just ranked by Gold medals. You can click the icon next to the column to change the ranking. btw, USA!!! USA!!! USA!!!

I saw Phelps get the IM gold last night. Pretty sweet. He was getting beat in the backstroke by the other American. But that is all that guy has on him.
Also the Americans tied against Holland in Soccer/football.
