And the X360 list is growing at a much faster rate. Your point?

And FYI, Motorstorm hit the 1m mark thanks to bundles, and nothing more..

So that takes out Forza 2 and Marvel Ultimate alliance from the 360 totals. Not trying to get involved in this. Just pointing that out.

hehe, Good Job. =) Looks like he forgot about x360 bundles. =))

mrstickball, btw, from 6 to 15 is BIGGER in %, then from 31 to 42. :P PS3 mln. sellers are growing faster with still smaller userbase.)

If you talk about userbase, by the time than the 360 had an userbase like ps3 now (14.4m) they have betwen 25 and 30 millionsellers, so, i think the 360 still winning.

Firstly Sony tend at E3 to focus on several years ahead. Whereas M$ literally every E3 focus on the next 12 months.

I guess your forgetting the following games.

Star Ocean 4

Next Halo game

Cry On

Mass Effect 2

Alan Wake

Peter Jacksons Halo Project

Huxley( People forget this game is MMOFPS before Mag on PS3 was announced)

Lost Odyssey 2

Forza 3

Thiese are just off the top of my head and are all currently full 360 exclusives.

Which of these are going to sell over 3 mln. ?

The ones bolded are pretty certain it will hit 3mil.

OT: It has a better lineup than PS3 atleast. So when is GT5 coming again?

I'm sorry, but you must not have even looked at the PS3's exclusive lineup for 2009.

Afrika, The Agency, Dark Cloud 3, DC Universe Online, Eyedentify, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Free Realms, God of War III, Gran Turismo 5, Heavy Rain, ICO 3, inFAMOUS, Killzone 2, Kurayami, L.A. Noire, The Last Guy, MAG: Massive Action Game, MLB 09: The Show, Nobi Nobi Boy, Ratchet & Clank Future 2, Red Dead Revolver 2, Twisted Metal PS3, Uncharted 2, WarDevil: Unleash the Beast Within, Way of the Samurai 3, White Knight Chronicles, WipEout PS3, Yakuza 3, and Yakuza: Kenzan!

Not only that, but there are currently rumors that Hardware 2 and a sequel to Final Fantasy VII are both going to be announced next week exclusive to PS3. I'm not saying that the 360 won't have an excellent lineup once Microsoft and other 3rd party companies announce more games, but as things currently stand, it doesn't even compare to the PS3's upcoming lineup.

Games in bolded are games that a very likely not to see the light of day in 09. PS3's track record since it's launch on  releasing games hasnt been good. So I dont expect these games.

Yes, Gears 2 will be the last huge release for the XBox 360.*

*But ONLY if a large comet strikes the Earth the day after release and all life is simultaneously extinguished.**

**Even if this occurs, Halo 4 sells 10 million.

lol, I see what you did there, and I laughed a little inside.

Also, @topic in general

Crazzy + Numbers = Me not read

He's never made a post with numbers that anyone shoulda been like, "Oh snap, he's right, the PS3 was gonna beat the Wii all along." He adjusts and cherrypicks them for his PS3 purposes. He said it all, "PS3, got to believe" so he's believing and he'll lie, cheat, and steal(I've never caught him lying, but he's admitted to plans to cheat and steal in order to spite the 360 and any other Sony competitor, in the form of piracy of Infinite Undiscovery and Tales of Vesperia, it's in his posting history, check it out) to contribute any small thing to the PS3's public image, sales, or whatever.

He's openly claimed that he'll pirate the 360 JRPGs to spite the companies who released them, because they should have known better, and released their game on the superior PS3. He said that. Very recently. Don't lend credit to anything he says that he presents as unbiased facts or numbers, it's all designed to further his agenda of not simply predicting the PS3s win, but helping it get there by telling people whatever they want to hear, in order to get them to feel better or more confident towards the Playstation brand. Please ask me to expand. Anyone.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.

The title of this thread is unfortunately true. There will be no AAA games for the 360 after Gears of War. I read somewhere online that the companies making games for the 360 were sick of making money and had decided to throw in the towel on the platform.

Too bad... I was looking forward to Gears of War 9: Fenix Says a Compound Sentence.

Once again, I'm amazed at general lack of understanding on this forum of the basic principles of business. Whether you like the PS3 more or the 360 more makes no difference. Nor does it matter which console you want to "win" the console war (a war which pretty much exists only on tech sites and forums and is waged mostly by fanboys who have no clue what they're talking about).

The fact of the matter is that if you have a viable console on the market (Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft all three have one) you are going to continue to make product for it to maintain and/or increase its demand. If you rest on your laurels, you can suffer greatly. Sony is a good example of this because of their rocky PS3 launch. But in ANY business, not just a gaming business, if you stagnate for too long, your company simply dies. If you're a bigger company, it just simply takes longer to happen. The bigger the company is, the harder it is for that company to go belly up. (As a general rule.)

Microsoft notoriously focuses on products that are ready or close to being ready in the near future. Sony seems to focus more on cut scenes and promises these days. Killzone 2 and Resistance 2 both look amazing, but how long have we been hearing about these two games? Microsoft would be taking twice the beating that Sony is taking right now if they approached game announcements in the same way. They are simply showing you things they are confident they can show you. Do you honestly believe they have nothing in the pipeline as far as big announcements or releases? What do you want them to do, reveal everything they have in their arsenal for the rest of the generation? That's simply not how business works, especially in the technology industry.

Honestly guys, some of you get pretty ridiculous with your conspiracy theories, crackpot analysis, and internet boycott campaigns. Read a couple of books and learn how business and marketing work. You may change your tune.
