...and it surprised me by being much funnier than I expected. It's extremely childish and silly, but if you can appreciate those qualities in a comedy, you will most likely enjoy it.

I didn't laugh even once..... I even thought Talledega nights was, eh.

His last great movie, I think, was Blades of Glory. Best comedy of 07' probably.

I also disliked Talladega Nights. I have a soft spot for Anchorman, though. All three films (including Step Brothers) were written by Will Ferrell and Adam McKay and directed by McKay.

I liked both Talladega Nights and Semi-pro, but I agree they weren't his best.

I've also noticed that the enjoyment in any Will Ferrell movie is greatly increased by watching it with friends...and by friends I mean the type of friends that you can BS with into the early hours of the morning.

PS - Anchorman and Blades of Glory are his 2 best imo, but I haven't seen Step Brothers....yet....
