Gametrailers is full of console fanboys, so it's expected that a console game would win best graphics award.
I can easily think of several PC games present at E3 that had better graphics: Dawn of War 2, Crysis Warhead and Empire: Total War.

Killzone might have the graphics but the gameplay is...

I'm pretty sure Crysis does not have real time Ray-tracing and Killzone 2 does, so KZ2 is better |
KZ2 does not use Ray-tracing. That rumor started from a photoshopped image of the game.
Crysis, on the other hand, uses Paralax Occlusion Mapping, Advanced Rope Physics, Advanced Light Refraction, Procedural Motion Warping, Light Beams, Subsurface Scattering, etc...

... I hate to say this, but I'm not that impressed with it, graphically.
All screenshots and videos I've seen have been... grey/black. With a little bit of red thrown in for good effect.
The so far only screenshot that I have looked at with admiration from Killzone 2 actually turned out to be from another game >.<

I dont get the gripe with the gameplay. Its a shooter. You see an enemy, you shoot them. Thats all shooters are. We have seen one level, like 2 weapons. What did people want magical flying powers and sharks with laser beams attached to their freakin heads?
I dont get it at all, but its the internet so you gotta criticize something. And if you are talking AI its still a year away and they have said time and again it was toned down.
But yeah, Killzone is definitely the best looking game period. If there are games that top this by a lot I can't imagine what they will look like 8-O.

I would try crysis
My opinion is that games should only be judged when they are released. This seems like another example of "PS3 will have something amazing". Who really cares if its not out this year. I'd b looking forward to Res2.

The different class system looks very promising.

During one of the developer interviews he says the game uses Ray-tracing.

I think he is referring to the less than glowing gameplay impressions for the press that did get hands on time with the game at E3. |
==> a lot of people were happy with the gameplay
some just found it was too generic but nothing so bad
