 You won't get many honest answers.

PS3 owners will generally say they think its pointless.

360 owners will generally say its a good thing and expands the game.

 

A percentage of both are telling lies...

 

It sits somewhere in the middle, if done well and not too expensive and it actually adds something to the game then I think thats a good thing...

 

Is it important to winning sales....We don't know, because no proper DLC has even been released yet for either the PS3 or the 360

If it came out concurrent with the release it would be, but DLC usually releases at least 3 months (sometimes an entire year) after the game itself has launched, which means that the game has pretty much sold to whoever it is going to sell already.

MS did not pay 50 mil for DLC! They gave a loan of 50 mil. That is a difference!
