MS last quarter. 1.3 mil units shipped. This Quarter 1.3 million units shipped.

If MS can keep pace then Im sure Ps3's can sell more than they shipped last quarter. MS didn't have MGS4 or GT5:P to help them, and they both had GTA4.

2.46 shipped is not out of the question.

These figures seem to be close, ofcourse off a bit, but not by much. Looks pretty certain that the PS3 will take the 360 in Q2 next year. All comes down to xmas really and this year Sony has the games, compared to last that is. 1st Q should be a bumper for them too.

I've also found Tretton to be a pretty honest guy and usually gives it to you straight. (compartively at least)

He also seems the only one to show emotion during e3.

Yea he seems like a really nice guy. I like it how he doesen't wanna attack microsoft or any other company aswell. :)

 As opposed to not using MS' shipped numbers?

In this comparison "Ps3 is x amount from 360" comparision they are using shipped vs shipped numbers. They aren't spinning that number. Even before MGS4 the 360 PR said 5 mil ahead.
