Forums - Sony Discussion - Sony holding back on secret PS3 title!!

Sony is still yet to reveal a top-secret game supposedly shown to the BBC earlier this year. You may remember a BBC reporter claiming to have been shown a secret PS3 title that he said "could be on the brink of a step change in what games consoles are capable of in terms of story-telling and immersion".

But this game, according to that same reporter, was not shown at last week's E3 expo. "MAG appeared - the massively multiplayer online FPS game," he says, but adds: "this was not the game I was referring to. It still hasn't been shown publicly."

Speculation originally linked the secret game to Eight Days - a now-cancelled title from Sony's London studio - but that wasn't it either.

"Some of you might be thinking the game is pure vapourware. But I promise you it's real," says the BBC reporter.

This game must be amazing, I hope they tell us what it is maybe its the new rockstar franchise or shadow of the collusus etc. Sony has an ace up their sleeve, cant wait to find out what game it is!!!!! (what game do you think is the myserious ps3 title??)

BBC is badass.

Its not F1.

It may be Heavy Rain, but I doubt it. But I believe it could be more after they had the closed event at E3 for Heavy Rain.

Sony sold the F1 license to Codemasters. I think the game is either 'Heavy Rain' or the next 'Driver'

Pretty sure someone confirmed on GAF that it wasn't Heavy Rain.  I think they came to the conclusion that it may be "The Protector" or it is just something we've never heard of.
