Forums - Sony Discussion - I really enjoy Sony's implemented Video Store

Really enjoy it, 85 $ worth of videos in just two days enjoy. Anyone had fun with it? I downloaded alot of movies so far, i can safely say the Playstation 3 has a bright future if Sony keeps it up, they will have more of my money lol. And Xam'd, of course, looks really audacious, can't wait for episode 2. On PSN only of course :)

It depends on your internet connection. I haven't tried the streaming, but I'd guess you'd need around a 256KB/s+ download speed for streaming SD rentals...smoothly at least.

Edited for correction in terminology. I get confused with it sometimes. KB is different from kb...got to get that through my head.

GREAT STUFF I MUST SAY, THE PS3 HAS A BRGIHT FUTURE AHEAD JUST LIKE THE CEO OF SONY SAID 10 YEAR PLAN!

I am waiting for them to release it in Europe.

im still waiting for PSN cards

PSN video store it absolutly top notch and will be updated weekly.

if compared to the live video store PSN store is much better, in fact the new PSN store is amoungst the best applications ive seen.

i can picture in home going to the cinema spaces and you and your friends all watching a video, its gonna be superb.

me personally wont be buying any videos from PSN, ive been enjoying video downloads for the last several years free of charge.

at only $399 and £299 for an 80 gig playstation 3 console this xmas, you would be mad to miss out

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

cant wait

@kowenicki

well its o nly just been launched so nobody is expecting 1000's of movies immediatly. after 6 months the video store should be heaving......... but on top of that new bluray releases are now an almost daily occurence.

asda have now an entire 12foot wide shelf dedicated to bluray. the damn boxsets look well cool especially the rambo one.

the point is. is that with ps3 you will be able to download movies..............and buy bluray films which in my opinion r ten times better in visuals, sound and collectability.

only on ps3 do u have these earth shattering choices. download rentals oor purchases. or an original bluray release for u to keep. and mabey u could borrow of me for the weekends.

with download only i cant let u borrow my films lol but with bluray i can lol

i predict the psn video to be a succes, and bluray movie sales to shoot through the roof once the hd telly install base rises.

if you know anyone that needs a telly argos have a good credit card where they give 3 months free
