Forums - PC Discussion - Who here plays Ogame?

Cause I did, got  my fleets destroyed and closed my accounts... Who else did this happen too?

I've playing for 3 years now , never got crashed. I don't play that much anymore, and haven't made a single raid in last 6 months (I'm miner only now)

It's hard to quit when you remain undefeated

I play a Browser game called Tribal Wars looks like the same kinda thing but you Steal Villages of other players and if you got none left I guess thats the same as having your fleet destroyed.

I played it for a year. Quit in 2005.

I played Travian for a year, 'till the end of the server round, then thought I had had enough. I considered trying Ogame, but my Travian-mates who had played it adviced me against it so I didn't. And now I ended up starting another round of Travian, argh! This has got to be the single most hardcore game ever, and I don't mean that as an entirely good thing... are there any other Travian players here?

I played another game with a bunch of guys who play/played Ogame. They would of gone by the name of Crown of Thorns or something.

I've played Travian for almost a year, but not very actively though.

Saving your fleet and resources in Ogame is somehow easier than keeping your villages in Travian. At least, it was with the older version of Travian I played which could be pretty brutal. It may have changed a bit since then.

It also seemed easier to play solo in Ogame. Although the point of these games is to interact with other players (allies and ennemies), it's nice not to always have to rely on your friends to survive.

Anyway, all these browser games are pure evil .

The worst browser game has got to be earth2025, if anyone has ever played it then they know what i'm talking about. Bots and multis all over the place and many people using proxies to spy on other clans and run more then one account. Hacking each others sites and making power block alliances that destroy the game for anyone that does not play by their rules.

Yep, Travian is brutal. To the point that if you want to make it to the top in the game, you have to be prepared to sacrifice pretty much all the free time you have... And yes, playing with other's is a must in Travian, but that's good 'cause without all the alliance politics and wars, it would be horribly boring.
