Newsflash!: Developer/Publisher/Manufacturer downplays Wii success.

Oh my god, this is SO new! Sony has never said this before!! /sarcasm.

I mean, come on. This has always been the case, and likely will always be the case. Someone always posts these threads where someone downplays the Wii's success, and the same arguments are presented each time why it is or isn't successful or not. Graphics are compare, Wii owners tout MP3 and SMG, and PS360 talk about Killzone2 or Gears, and Crazzyman makes a list.

Now mind you, I haven't even read all of the posts in this thread, but I'm most assured that I've hit the nail on the head. And all that happens are a few warnings, a ban or two, and we move on until it happens again. So really, who cares about what someone says about something, I mean it's obviously false. Why do we give these people server space, and actually comment on stupid remarks every couple of weeks when this happens?

Impulsivity, the only question is, why do you care so much? I've read numerous posts from you ripping the Wii, has it accomplished anything other than wasting your time? You're not going to change anyone's mind so why do you bother? Even if you did manage to, what do you get from it?

People buy and play the games and consoles they want. Sales numbers show overwhelming, they want Nintendo, not Sony. You'll be ok though so take a deep breath and relax.

Instead of arguing and writing essays about why you think PS3 is better, just go play it and have a good time.

Now that is about right. Btw this thread has a new one, because the wii is overpriced now.

....and people don't understand why I don't like Sony. They're one of the most unprofessional companies out there. Elitist snobs, the bunch of them.

The "kiddie image" thing has died and can't be used anymore, so now the other console is "expensive" and a "niche system". Does that then mean that the PS3 is dead on arrival then, if the top selling current gen system is just a "niche"?

why do sony hire idiots to speak on their behalf :S The Wii was a Niche console until it took over this generation and left MS and Sony behind eating its dust. If anything, the PS3 is the niche console being the 3rd in sales lol

I can't help but think of what Stringer was thinking of making such a stupid statement :s oh god the stupid statement has infiltrated my think tank and it won't leave until it has found logical reasoning (bar from share ludicrous talk from possible high drug usage).

After doing some more thinking and analysing the Stringer statement, i shall come back and share my final thoughts on all you lovely people :S
