microsoft ponied up the cash to 3rd parties this year

This is awful. They started off so well with the amazing showing of GeOW2, Fable 2, and Re5. This is similar to last years conference when they announced all the movie deals. I wish they would just focus on gaming, 360 has a very nice lineup and could really steal the show with some new exclusives. If Sony goes the same route, I will be very dissapointed. Nintendo might be the one giving us the new core audience titles lol.

Not to rain on your parades, but isn't this just the original portal with a challenge mode??? Wouldn't it be wiser to just buy the Orange Box for 360 or PC, I say PC because modders should have more than just the challenge mode covered.

 

Edit: Sorry, my bad, apparently it have new levels... I wonder how hard would it be to replicate those levels on PC.

They used more of the screen in the old dashboard. The new dashboard is almost Vista looking! :O The Avatars, I had hoped to see more in game integration.

The avatars....sounds like this didn't get a big reception from the crowd, DKII mentioned "giggling" at the mention of the Avatars. I really don't have a problem with companies copying each other at all, I mean they all copy each other to some degree. If MS came out w/ a service very similar to home or even just like it, I could care less, but MS, why would you want to make a dumb service like Avatars???
