Forums - Nintendo Discussion - New Conduit Interview, screens and video.

I kinda expect Nintendo to come in and offer to publish this one. The hype is certainly buiding and they'll want this to succeed.

I want SSBB style advertising with different short clips every channel on every advert break.

IGN: You've said the controls will be fully customizable. How so? Have you looked at Medal of Honor Heroes 2 for inspiration?

Eric: Yes, Medal of Honor Heroes 2 was a source of inspiration, but we believe we've taken things even a step further. In MoHH2, you were able to adjust things like dead zone size, player turning speed and cursor sensitivity via a paused menu. In The Conduit, you can adjust these and other options in real time. That means you don't have to go back and forth to get the feel of your changes; you see them instantly and can tell if your adjustments are working for you. We are also taking some inspiration from Smash Bros. Melee and will be allowing players to customize their control layouts. Don't like using the B button to shoot? Map it to the button you prefer. Like to use a certain Wii-Remote motion for something? You will be able to map to those too.

Melee? lolwut?

The video looks really smooth... is that 30 fps?

Yeah, thats what I thought.

I hope this game turns out good, HVS's background isn't very good.

No matter the outcome, I plan on getting it.

At least they're trying, can't be said about 90% of 3rd party.

The game looks nice but I don't think it is comparable to any first gen 360 games in terms of graphics. It looks like it could be a nice looking Xbox game. There are still more months to polish it.

I may get this game only if it is extremely challenging and not "noobed-down" (that's my word) and gameplay is tight and fun.

Show me some xbox games that look like this. Also there are many first generation xbox 360 games that look worse than original xbox games because they added nothing but a higher resolution, which showed heavy jaggies. You didn't start to see the xbox 360s performance until Gears, and you only saw some in CoD 2 and CoD 3 which I beleive this looks close to in some areas, such as lighting.

I take it back. It does look better than any Xbox I have seen.

I was very skeptical until I saw that video. Holy crap!!! It looks great. Now I see why its being hyped so much. Please don't mess up the controls guys.

It's just pure Awesome! I'm now more hype :)

Well they are also crewating very diverse controller setups and changes..They are learning from MOH:H2 and MP3(last interview), which controls are best on the market..

I believe they are nailing the best controls we have seen on Console FPS..

who's going to buy the conduit?

i know i am lol
