I am not sure if this has already been posted but Sony have confirmed that '3 million' sales have taken place at retail. It appears that VGchartz is under tracking this one, showing sales a tjust over 2 million.

In japan, the sale of PS3 increased week on week eight fold since the release of MGS 4.

It was posted but we never know if that was shipped or estimated sold to customers,,cause the article doesn't make it clear

I have to repeat it yet again... Konami would never know how many units were sold at retail. They just know how many they sold TO retail.

It's shipped -- Konima shipped(or rather sold to retaielrs) 3 million copies of MGS4 in under 2 weeks. The figure is proberly closer to 3.5 million now ...
