Forums - General Discussion - Is it safe to assume that if the economy was better, PS3 would do better?

If it really is an economic slump that's causing PS3 sales to be slower to adopt than usual, As soon as the economy is an economic turn-around, it should pick up speed isn't that right?

Personally, i don't think the Wii is winning because it's just so damn cool and fun, but rather that's all people can afford right now and it's the cheapest alternative to next-gen gaming.

This is probably why economists have said in the long-term, PS3 will come out on victor once HDTV's start selling again to replace outdated standard tv's. Even analog is on it's way out to make way for digital television.

Huh? PS3 only?

I bet it would be doing a little better, as with the other consoles. Software wise just as much, if not more, than hardware.

Of your 10 posts prior to this all 10 of them have been threads started on divisive topics where you stir up the pot then leave the thread.  Whats more is that 6 of them had to be locked.  I'm going to make that 7 of 11 locked.

Furthermore, if all you have to offer is flamebait threads you then you should probably find somewhere else to post.  Consider this your only warning, we don't need users who do nothing but fan the flames.
