C'mon guys. LBP will easily break a million. Hell, it should outsell Ratchet & Clank Future by quite a bit when all is said and done, and that game is already at 1.22 million. Sony is really the pushing the game as it's biggest exclusive this year next to (and from what I've seen, maybe even above) Resistance 2, and it will probably be one of, if not THE highest rated game this year (after GTAIV). 

Loads of advertising + high critical acclaim = success.

Resistance 2 will sell more than the others. (possibly FF13 will sell more)

what? LBP is not for the kiddy crowd. It is way to advanced and complex. It is a hardcore game.

 

LBP is for everyone.  It is very intuintive and easy to navigate, but it provides great depth for those willing to invest the time.

Its cutesy style makes it enjoyable for kids who just want to run around in makeshift platforming levels, and the artstyle combined with the death animations and slapping make it awesome (if somewhat childish) fun for adults as well.
