*sigh* when I decided to start posting here, I thought that all fanboys were the same. Wii Fanboys, 360 fanboys and PS3 fanboys all had their "go to move" when it comes to attacking other fanboys or defending themselves from other fanboys. For the 360 it was the loss of exclusives for the PS3, the superior game library, the better online experience. For the Wii it was the fact that Nintendo's sales have dwarfed every other console in such a short time and their SW sales, and Nintendo's awesome 1st party games. For PS3 it was the great franchise games that have come out or will be coming out, free online, 360's RROD, and that the PS3 has steadily been catching up to the 360 and will surpass it one day.

It's been a sad few days because all of a sudden, all of this 360 fans wining about so and so fanboys and he said she said bull is getting out of control. Its a forum, if PS3 fanboys attack the thread that you are reading, move on to the next one, or just completely ignore them and go about discussing what it is that you want to talk about in that thread. If anything, all of these wining threads are making ps3/wii fanboys or whoever it is trolling these threads attack more now that they see that you are bitching about it. It's a forum, there's trolls everywhere, get over it.

I am a 360 fan and when someone hijacks a thread(such as the Halo Chronicles one) I just report it to the mods and they take care of it. Most of the time decent posts make up about 1/3 of the thread count. Can't really get a good discussion when people say stupid shit that has nothing to do with the OT.  I don't really care about what they say, in fact I find them to be idiots.

 like when there was a thread about "what game will be the best at e3" and someone turned it into a "Sony must be scared because MGS4 is a failure"

or how about

"Sony shipment projects for FY 2008" and someone turned it into a "MS will wipe the floor with Sony this year"

Trolling happens for every party. these threads singling out a group of people is just retarded.

I say these threads being created is more damaging to the apperance of a group of people than 1 persons post in a thread.

I have to agree jagged the off topic posting has to be addressed on this site.

I own a PS3 and just ROTFL when I hear folks constantly praise it like it's Jesus Christ Superstar. It's a freakin' console.

It's not just on this site - it's other forums as well with folks touting how awesome the PS3 is, how the 360 sucks and the Wii is next in their site.

I just tend to ignore the delusions of granduer around here and know yeah, the PS3 will overtook the 360 one day, but it won't be because Sony forced MS out of the biz - it will be because MS has moved on. Sony needs a grip of time to beat MS. The Wii proved one thing - it could beat the 360 in a short amount of time. With the PS3 outselling the 360 by like what ... 35-45K a week, and MS has only rolled out one price cut in nearly 3 years since launch ... dang. Let the bots and faux bots yapp. It's funny and good therapy reading some of their posts.

As far as 360 fans, Starcraft is the most extreme 360 fan and even he can't compete with the likes of _________ (insert PS3 luvah here). He is not extreme at all.

Realize some of these clowns are just putting on a show, getting a rise out of people. Interesting post, Burgles. PEACE and keep yo' head up, son!
