I have to agree with you, Burgles. There seems to be a vehemence among PS3 fanboys that makes them worse than the other varieties. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with the amount of gloating they've had to put up with re: PS3's horrible launch, but there's this attitude that I've encountered on a number of forums now that amounts to, "How DARE Microsoft make a console!?"

It's pretty sad and annoying and, as you say, off-putting. I think this even has a little bit to do with my not yet owning a PS3. But that will change if LBP pans out, because Sackboys > Fanboys!

I have to agree with you burgles. I have a PS3 and a Wii but recently the standard of debate has fallen dramatically on this site. It has reached the point that no matter the point of a thread I expect to see a few off topic trolls from PS3 fanboys. Yet it seems as if nothing is being done about it.

Wow, so much exaggeration in one post. Firstly anybody who uses a linear compairson of the graphic capabilities of two machines shouldn't be comparing anything. (Yes I've done this in the past aswell, but learned more)  

Secondly Nobody said the wii could run CoD 4 in the way you are making it out to be. They said with downgrades it was possible, without anything else but the graphics to be changed.

Also who is "acting" when they say the wii is superior? You don't need to "act" to see that Jk

Also there are many ps3 fans attacking the 360 lately. Example While not as much as the op is making it out to be its still there.

And what pisses me off the most is when they try single out a group of people. Like kingofwhale points out.

They cant grasp the concept that it just isnt SONY fans.

But they tell themselves that to make themselves feel better about it.

Have you been on a message board before. There is crap on all sides. Microsoft and Nintendo crap don't smell better. There are varying degrees of crap, and maybe more of the regulars that bother you are Playstation fans but it's far from a Playstation board. A little advice is don't feed the trolls (like this thread is) and move onto different threads when others get hijacked. You'll never "teach" anyone they are being foolish this way.



You registered because your a gaming fan and you wanted to voice your opinion. If I want to get facts on the 360 I'll go to the official 360 site or look for a FAQ/Walkthrough section on IGN or Gamespot. Facts can't be disputed. Arguments on a forum can.

You're obviously an educated guy, why can't everyone get along...I've read your posts, I can see the glee you take in reporting\discussion of anything negative towards the 360 - it seems its almost a drug. You encourage the new members, and they aren't quite as intelligent as yourself and take everything literally.

I'm just saying from someone who isn't really into all the "LEE7" internet forum nonsense, I'm a grown adult so can afford a console and don't really "support" a company....The way that you seem to want to score points - For whatever reason - is unsightly and irritating to a potential buyer of either console, or someone who has a genuine interest in the console sales data.

 

I dunno, I'm not having a dig, I know it sounds like it...I read mrstickballs 3 day ban thing and that actually sounded like a good idea. Trouble is the 1st post after his was going on about "censoring"...

He just wants to bring some order to the place, you need to have rules in life....

Rubbish! Read xbox360fanboy and u will soon be turned off the 360 like me.

Don't get me wrong, I own all platforms and love all 3 for different reasons, but, out of the fanboy sights the 360 people spew the most lies! And, I do agree with the top post, on this sight it's the Wii users that are the most biased and foolish.
