I totally agree. I wonder how many reasonable 360 fans who just want to talk about games come to this site's Microsoft forum only to be scared off by some of by some of the inane subjects and posts. I don't mean scared of in a sense of actually being frightened, more like:
"No way I'm posting there. How can there be a reasonable discussion when every conversation devolves into idiots who don't even own the system waxing on about rrod?"
This, of course, goes for all forums, but I have noticed the problem to be more acute in the Microsoft forums.
It damages the site, plain and simple. Makes it look like a bunch of frothing at the mouth, squabbling children.

This entire console war thing annoys the everliving shit out of me.

Honestly... seems kinda of pointless and makes things worse off because you are taking unilateral action on the 360 forums.

Unless you get mods on board who follow the same principle who regularly read the Sony and Wii forums it's going to do a lot more harm then good.

Strategy - If you own a PSP, and want to complain about PSP features or games, do so on the Sony forum. But don't begin to bash the PS3, and complain about Sony in general on the Sony forums.

Gballzak was a Nintendo flamebaiter (if I remember right). I never really read a ton of her posts, as she was always in the N forums, but was constantly deriding the other systems (again, if memory serves me).

The issue was that she posted...A lot, and it was never neutral. Add to the fact she was a girl, and had nude pics of herself on her profile, things began to get a little...Wierd, so they ended up nearly perma-banning her.

There's really no need for this thread, Don't we already have rules that applies to all part of these boards, why would there be a difference. Believe it or not the wii is the most flamed console on this site.
And frankly taking side is not good either, don't just worry about the MS forums, Did you check the Sony forums lately, its loaded with flames and shot from tons of fanboys.

I would agree with you if a bunch of 360 trolls didn't do the same on PS3 and Wii boards so have fun with your censorship tirade.

psrock, then as a Wii owner, wouldn't you want to get some peace in the Nintendo forums free of every thread being bashed on?

The whole reason for the thread is that so when I start banning people, they can refer to this thread to know :)

Auron - Hopefully other mods will get on board with this, and start to ban the said X360 trolls on the Wii/PS3 forums.
