... or more accurately i should say my games. Over the last couple of weeks my 360 has turned into a serial killer and started to kill off some of my games. I bought a couple of xboxs games not too long ago and didn't have a chance to play them until recently. first it happend with saints row, a friend came over and wanted to have a go at it, we played for a bit and left it for a couple days. the next time i tried to play it again it didn't go past one of the loading screens, no matter how much I try it it doesn't go past the loading screen. This also happend with kameo a couple of days ago, same problem, doesn't go past any loading screen, and i also tried to load lost odyessy disc 1 and the same problem happend, altough when I load my currect disc 4 it was fine, and all my other games are fine... for now.

eveytime i load a game now I hold my breath and pray nothing happens. I don't know i its the discs yet, but i do plan to try them out on someone elses xbox soon enough to try and figure out the problem. *sigh* this is a real pain in the @ss.

Might be the disc drive.

xbox360's disc scratching history has been pretty well documented, A person even attempted to sue Microsoft for it and was settled out of court.

Try clearing the cache. I don't know the keystrokes but just google it. If it still trips, call MS and see what they can do.

You could always wrap it in a blanket to cause RROD and get them to fix it for free.

that's why they settle out of court. Microsoft saved face, the guy got more money.

Well ,thats the other wonderful feature of the X360.In addition to RROD you get sometimes disc scratching.

Sorry for you guy.Try to get the console exchanged.

The guy doesn't need you pointing out unrelated problems with the 360, I'm pretty sure he is aware of the RRoD issues as they've been discussed to death several times over. The only purpose mentioning it serves is rubbing it in. If you don't have some info or kind words for the guy just be a good neighbor and don't rub salt in the wound...k? K~
