Once again, you missed the original point... there are very few local four-player games for the PS3 that are easily played by a general audience.  Many of the games you list do not support local four-player at all, let alone the distinction of being "core" or "casual".

I have war hawk - when you don't use the sixaxis that game isn't too bad, I wish the game had a bit more but it's really good though 6/10 in my book. What's Singstar?

I've always seen it in gamestop and it had some hippster with glasses that my friends always joked thinking it was some trashy variation of guitar hero/rockband and the guy on the cover was the developer because they were so cheap they couldn't hire actors.

Dude all of those games support local 4 player..

Also, pixel junk is easily played by a 3 year old and families as well(so is GT5,and GH)

You must have some "specialized" versions of GT5P, Battlefield: BC, Pixeljunk Monsters, and Rainbow Six: Vegas if they have local four-player support on a single system.  Many of the other games that you mention have not even been released, such as Soul Calibur IV (which is not likely to include a four-player mode in any case).

Yea it really is the best. And a handheld as an extra.

this is what i'm thinking as well!!

everyone needs to have a Wii and Ps3/Xbox360 as those two are so similar where the Wii is different, i think that's why Wii is selling the most!!

also, i guess Ps3 is selling more than Xbox360 lately because of the price drop and the blu-ray, so i guess if nothing changes after the E3, Wii will have huge sales, followed by Ps3 and then Xbox360 far away from Ps3 as it seems.....

I think the Wii is a nice console and everything, but I don't think i would ever own one but I've played it many time's before at my friends house and I just don't see myself owning JUST a Wii (even though I already own a PS3, but if I never did own a PS3 I can't see myself with just the Wii), I mean it's nice the way it is now because I got a PS3 and when I go to my friends house we sometimes play the Wii (haven't played it in a long time though?) so that's why I find it's a good mixture to have the two together, one for casual fun playing time, and another for hardcore crazy action time. 

But I also agree with some of you that is saying the PS3 is somewhat both a casual and hardcore console, IMO i find it to be a little more of a hardcore machine, but by the end of 2008 that might change a little.

(I don't have much to say about the Xbox 360, I don't know much about it, all I know is it's mainly for hardcore players that like FPS's, so that's why I'm saying it's a hardcore machine, I don't know maybe it is somewhat in the category of the PS3 where it's close to the middle of a casual and hardcore gaming machine)
