Calling it graduating is about as retarded as one can get, but as a long time gamer, I'll say this plainly.

If someone buys a Wii, gets into gaming, and buys a 360 or PS3 to see what else gaming offers, I am 100% behind them in that. If they start at Wii Sports, move on to Galaxy, move to Call of Duty, and come back to Bloom Blox, all they are doing is experiencing more and more of this hobby that most of us love.

Mebbe, try saying something like this: "In this generation, more and more people are finding gaming accessible and fun as activities to enjoy by themselves or in a group. Nintendo has done good job of targeting multiple demographics that normally aren't targeted, and we believe that with our diverse Xbox360 lineup, more and more consumers that have enjoyed the Wii, will purchase a Xbox360 and find out just what gaming with Microsoft is all about".

You know this comment gets more to the heart of MS problem than your analysis.  They are simply outnumbered by people preferring Wii and its style of games or still loyal to Sony brand vs mainly English speaking teen to mid twenties 360 hardcore.

Unless they pull of a miracle of brand perception altering, manage to drive a large number of family games to 360 or simply re-brand completely they are trapped in a box of their own making that comprises a very loyal, large amount of money spending but ultimatly smaller number of gamers.

 



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

LOL.  Excellent work.  That is basically what he is saying.  He said it a little more biting but the same message is there.  "Nintendo did great grabbing more people that normally do not game, and maybe we can capitalize on that by leeching off of it."  Makes perfect business sense.  Grab jrpgs, grab casuals, keep who you have currently - this seems to be their strategy.  Keep bringing compelling content to our console and hope people enjoy it.

and still none of those things can make the gaming experience half as good as gaming on consoles.

I said in my post that I was not including graphics in to that statement.

As a gaming experience consoles beat PC and has done so since mid 90´s, doesn´t mutter that you have better framerate becasuse it is not that much better that it makes the console experience lesser and the same goes for online.

One thing the PC can never achieve which makes the experience better on consoles is the actuall experience to play on a console wich is made for your gaming only and nothing else.

 

 

So basically your entire argument is summarized as "Waaaaaah I don't like PCs!!!"  All you do is keep saying "It's a better experience on consoles" without any evidence or features to back up your claim.  Please don't try and discuss something if you are unable to defend your point of view.  This isn't how intelligent discussions are done.  I named you numerous features on PCs that consoles don't have, and you can't name me a single feature on consoles that PCs don't have.  That is pretty ridiculous.  Don't start discussions you can't win.
