Pokemon MMO

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Ooh, I forgot about that one. The Pokemon Battle Revolution team hasn't done anything since, to my knowledge, and they've obviously already got an engine. Although if Nintendo does set up an MMO, it'll be in baby steps, like all the other risks they've taken so far. So Animal Crossing will precede it with some limited online stuff, and Pokemon wouldn't be until next year at the earliest.

At least, that's how I see it.

Raven Blade!

I remember that from ages ago... there was a short piece about it in a magazine a few months before the GC launched. It looked neat.

When I saw the Wii motorsports I automatically thought of Pilotwings and you never know it may end up going in the same direction and be a sequel to it.

i forgot about disaster lol
i hope we get a gameplay trailer soon

Raven Blade would be very cool. It would surprise me enormously though. The project was cancelled, probably for a reason.

I am pretty sure Disaster was postponed because of the tragedy i China. It should make a huge apperance at E3

Added some more pretty pictures to the OP, and a title I'd forgotten about completely.

Personally, I'm wondering whether Nintendo intends to go into the FPS sphere anytime soon. We know Miyamoto's really interested in the genre, and we know that Link's Crossbow Training was primarily intended to ease new gamers into accepting how to play FPSs. True, those games are often demonized in the mainstream press (thanks, Columbine), but perhaps if they found a simple, non-offensive way to present their game things wouldn't be so bad. Mario Paintball, anyone?

Speaking of Mario spinoffs, where's my Mario Paint Nintendo? The system is perfect for it, and I want to create another eight-frame Zelda dungeon like I did when I was six (My music? Totally kickass.)

True, but then this was the pre-Prime Retro, which from everything I've heard was a chaotic mess in and of itself until Miyamoto laid down the law ("upended the table", as I believe he put it). The current Retro may be able to handle what eluded it earlier, although having three of your top employees walk out recently probably didn't help much.

@melbye: I hope you're right, and that we learn more soon. But if Nintendo's waiting until there are no recent large-scale disasters, then this game will never see the light of day. I hope it was just pulled for a bit more polishing, although that's somewhat ominous as well, seeing as how it got pulled a month before it was supposed to be released.

@RolStoppable: First they have to bring us the ultimate Gargoyles game, then they can do what they want.

@Imthelegend: When Factor 5 announced they'd be doing a Wii game, I thought it'd be Pilotwings. I was relieved they were doing Kid Icarus instead: better that they kill a franchise I don't care about than one I love. But the inclusion of jet-skiing makes me think this probably isn't Pilotwings Wii, although it might have its moments.

*Gasp* no mention of MegaMan 9? A 8-bit styled megaman wiiware title? Perhaps one of my most anticipated titles of course :)

I am a Gauntlet Adventurer.

I strive to improve my living conditions by hoarding gold, food, and sometimes keys and potions. I love adventure, fighting, and particularly winning - especially when there's a prize at stake. I occasionally get lost inside buildings and can't find the exit. I need food badly. What Video Game Character Are You?
