Ok, thanks... I'll avoid that little feature as people tend to do some weird stuff on webcams, lol. Thanks again for the heads up.

Really, there is nothing to worry about. My daughter plays Singstar and occassionally uploads an small file of her singing a song. The community has loads of kids on it (with adult supervision), and is in no way weird. Go look yourself if you're not sure; it's worth it, as it's a quality aspect of the game that my daughter and wife really enjoy (oh, and me -- I can't believe I got suckered in: astoundingly good fun). Oh, and it has dancing Wookies and dancing Imperial Stormtroopers: what's not to like?

As for Heavenly Sword: Great game, too short, and too button-mashy for some, but I loved it. Fine for a 10-year old.

Uncharted: Great game, good length, some mature themes you may feel uncomfortable with a 10-year old witnessing. There is some minor swearing here and there in the cut scenes, and people get shot a fair bit.

Lair: Enjoyable. I wanted to love it, and did, even though it's flawed. Go in with your eyes wide open and you'll have fun.

Resistance: I really enjoyed it for the story. I'm not an FPS fan, but the story saw me through my dislike of the genre and the aging graphics. However, it's not a game with the same level of polish as its competitors; still good, though.

Congratulations on becoming a dark jedi, and I hope you feel completely satisfied with your new investment. I'm envious of you for having gotten your hands on the MGS4 80 gig bundle as I purchased the MotorStorm bundle back in January. Seeing as Japan and many parts of Europe have gotten the "Best of" or "Platinum Hits" series of games, it's only a matter of time for the US/Canada to get the deals, and I imagine Resistance, Uncharted and Lair will be among the titles. IMHO, while it is a short game, I greatly enjoyed Uncharted. I've played through it 3 or 4 times now and it's still fun, so I highly recommend it. While there are many naysayers, most of which have never actually played the game, I don't believe you can go wrong with Lair. Yes, the reviews sucked, but still I bought it and thoroughly enjoyed it. The analog control patch made things easier but I'm still a fan for the SIXAXIS. If you like flight-sims and dragons, it's not a bad game. I plan on picking up Resistance too when it becomes PH.

All you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be.

I loved Resistance and still love it. Campain in coop is really worth it.

It has a great set of fun weapons, especially if you, like me, like to play with grenades. Some of them are really funny to fire.

And I guess you can buy it for cheap now.

Get Uncharted too. It's simply awesome.

They will know Helgan belongs to Helghasts

You should get Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. It is fun for all ages. Check out the IGN review, it is a must have in my opinion.

It seems the mods need help with this forum.  I have zero tolerance for trolling, platform criticism (Rule 4), and poster bad-mouthing (Rule 3.4) and you will be reported.

Congratulations, I think you will really enjoy it.

Something now one here had mentioned yet, and in case you are unaware...

Netflix rents Blu-Ray movies, and it does not cost any extra. Just set up your account to let them know you have a BD player, and just use there site as you normally would. If you select a movie, and that movie is also on BD, they will put that version in your que. You can set it up to send you the first available (BD or DVD), or if the BD is on hold, wait for that one.

If you have yet to see "Planet Earth" in HD, that would be the first thing I picked up (that and 300 after your daughter has gone to bed :))

BTW, Einstein bites. Gimme the avatar with the backcourt like the '60s Celtics, son.

Lol, I KNEW that was coming. I just thought it was time for a change. It in no way indicates my loss of interest in backcourt or camel.

BTW, Do I need to know anything about the MGS series before jumping into MGS4?  I haven't played the series before and I don't want to constantly be saying WTF?

I hate trolls.

Systems I currently own:  360, PS3, Wii, DS Lite (2)
Systems I've owned: PS2, PS1, Dreamcast, Saturn, 3DO, Genesis, Gamecube, N64, SNES, NES, GBA, GB, C64, Amiga, Atari 2600 and 5200, Sega Game Gear, Vectrex, Intellivision, Pong.  Yes, Pong.

No need for your X360 anymore you now have a PS3. Sell your X360 and games on Craig's List or EBay. Use that money to get more games or an extra DS3 controller for your PS3.

If you ask me DMC4 blows HS out the water. But perhaps you have it on 360 already?

Your doctor left me a message. Your prescription for your meds is still on his desk.

Great decision.

Another GREAT game for yout o get is Buzz The Great Quiz. Its the best quiz game ever ,you can play with your wife and daughter ,create your own questions and quizs ,play online against other families in their living room ,download new packs of questions if you grow bored of the 5000 questions it comes with.....a marvelous social game.

I liked Lair ,even with the motion controls. Its very much as an old Rogue Squadron game but with very high graphics and sound production values.
