I think I'll say Die Hard on Playstation or Street Fighter EX. If I were to single out bad games based on how much they let me down after hype though (let's face it, we knew the above two were crap all along) I'd have to say GTA IV and Crysis (This is irrevelant to the topic of course, but I hate being disappointed badly by games I was sure were gonna rock).

Since I'm sure you were intending this to be about video games only, any computer adaptation of either of those games will suffice.

What's your favourite part, the random number generation or slavishly obeying the random number generator?

Or do you try to beat the game by putting a 'spin' on the die to get a favourable outcome? And does that qualify as cheating, or is it the only way to play smart?

In other news, my thread got a 9.8 from Profcrab. My life is now complete.

Ummm... the disk is a bit scratched now. Too bad :(

My favorite memories of the game include going 9 trillion miles per hour backwards, driving up 90° cliffs with no reduction in speed, falling through a bridge, and driving through buildings.

Sadly, it says "YOU WIN!" when you cross the finish line in my friend's copy. Even if the other truck (a patch adds "AI" to the other truck, but they follow the road exactly with zero variation) finishes first.
