Aren't there like only 300 people in all of the Netherlands? ;) I kid!

I haven't been into a shop recently to give any updates on the NY/NJ scene for any consoles. Hell, I had to stay home from work today because I had no money for gas =\ Damn ex-landlord needs to send me my security deposit STAT! There are games to be bought!!

 Oh really? You live in the UK right? I read a lot of times at VGC that it was supply constrained in some parts of the UK, maybe not in your town.

 

Anyways Wii sold 73k in the UK this week, so I wonder how many are left now on shelves.

Wiis in stock in large quantity I believe, but I don't for a second buy that there are 300 of them. During X-mas some of the largest retail outlets in the US didn't get 300 units. Sounds like they had a lot of units and you exaggerated the amount a bit?

Actually, the Netherlands seem to be one of the places in Europe where Wii has been the hardest to find for the last 6 months, so either Nintendo finally decided to send a larger part of their Wiis to the Netherlands of the whole of Europe is receiving more Wiis. In either case it is at least an indication that Wii availability in Europe is improving. Although it isn't clear yet if supply will hold up or if this is just some temporarely lift in supply to the Netherlands.

Yeah I heard about these shortages in Netherlands... However, all the clever Dutch people will know that they can just order a Wii from Amazon UK, which will probably be cheaper anyway with the British pound losing value.
