I just realized today that the DS is only about 2.4% away from attaining a total marketshare of 70% in the handheld section. With strong sales still happening and the DS usually passing the PSP in total sales, do you think that the DS will attain 70%? If so, then when?

I guess maybe after the Christmas rush it could reach it, but since its not selling as dominating in Japan anymore as it has been it may as well not reach 70 % marketshare. In the end it doesn't really matter does it, the DS has won the race a long time ago

Although DS has trailed PSP in Japan this year, I think a new model would result in DS reclaiming the top spot pushing it over 70% worldwide.
