I'm sorry if i don't have you on the list and your mad cause you can beat some of the people on here, but o well. just ask for a challenge match from either Sir Pit or montana hatchet and you'll be on your way up the ladder.

Also, i'm sure it will be revised due to those who don't want to play for various reasons.

Also, if it is possible. There needs to be referee in the challenge matches due to dishonesty...lol

Also, we need about 5 volunteers to be in charge of editing the rankings list. Me and ivo and 3 other people. You have to post regularly so we can keep the continuity of the list going. Both players or referee must send results to one of the 5 editors.

Also, if you challenge someone and lose, then you cannot challenge them for a week. This is so everyone doesn't go challenge crazy. We want to keep the game fun and only do this as something on the side to spice things up a bit.

Defending your Position: You must defend your position and prove you have earned your spot. If someone challenges you, you are obligated to fill that challenge within 5 days.(we will compromise if something important has come up such as a vacation or health issue ect.) If you fail to do so, you will forfeit your position to the challenger. Only way to avoid a challenge is if you move up in position. If you lose your match against the challenger you cannot rematch until at least 1 day. Why you ask? Because if we do immediate rematches then it no longer becomes best 2 out of 3, but out of 7 or even 11 ect. If you lose your challenge then you have to wait a week to fight them again (this will keep things interesting). Only way around this, is if you move up in position and so does the opponent you lost to. Then you can start fresh with a new challenge. The number 1 position has the choice to make his matches best out of 5 if he chooses and must state his position before his match is fought. (It's good to be king). Lastly, I reccomend you communicate with your opponent prior to your match about counterpick stages. This will keep you from restarting the matches over and over. If there is anything else added i will let everyone know about the updates.

Challenging: You are permitted to challenge anyone up to two spaces above your current ranking. If you are unranked you may challenge 19 and 20. The challenged party has 5 days to respond to set a date of the match. Once they respond, the date of the match must be within 5 days of the response. The sooner the better. If the challenged party does not respond or misses the date of their match without good reason. They forfeit their position. If someone is continually found guilty of missing matches and being unresponsive they will be removed entirely regardless of rank.

First a fore most this needs to be said. This is an ONLINE league, meaning there will be matches where you will have lag. Sadly, little can be done about this, so just deal
with it.

Banned: Everything else. Picking a banned stage for any reason, results in a forfeit.This includes the optional bans if not agreed upon by both parties.

Match procedure:
Communication is slightly lacking over the internet, so these differ from standard tournament procedures.

First match stage pick. Please set the 5 (6 for teams) on the Neutral stage list and select random for stage selection. If decent communication between two people can be arranged, the stage strike system can be used instead. If, for some odd reason you don't have all stages and can't use the random option. Pick a stage and try to not be biased towards your character.

Counterpicking: Once the first match has been played, the loser may counterpick a character and stage. Should the match start and your stage not be picked END CONTEST IMMEDIATLY. In the event that you, for whatever reason, can not end contest suicide or drop out immediatly. DO NOT FIGHT IF YOU DIDN'T GET YOUR PICK. Your opponent should get the idea. Do not wait, if you end contest mid match your match is considered forfeit. Continue to End Contest until your counterpicked stage is selected. The winner of the match is not allowed to change their character. If decent communication can be had, the stage is selected first, then the winner can change character, then the loser can change character.

In the event of Lag. If the lag is found to be too harsh between two people. They can agree to a draw and neither lose nor gain standing. They may then challenge one person above the person they lagged with, however, this can not exceed 2 people above their current position. If you lag with both, pick the lesser of two evils. BE HONEST. If you are found to be continually dishonest with your results we will remove you entirely from standing.

Video or Picture proof. Having it helps back your case and prevents cheating.

Move bans:

Meta Knights Down-B Extension. (Down-B is not banned, extending it by use of C-stick is)

Sonic may use Homing Attack (Neutral B) to stall underneath the stage for 5 hits then he must return to the stage (Meaning must stand on it).

Enforcing Move Bans: If someone is seen using a banned tactic. Make sure they've done a banned tactic. Then end contest the match, save the replay and contact a league admin for instruction on how to send it. If found guilty the offender forfeits the match. In the event of a repeat offender, they will be removed from the rankings entirely.

suicide tactics: Any suicide tactic that would bring the match into sudden death is a win for the person with the lowest percentage. This includes bowsercides that for some reason don't KO Bowser correctly. Sudden Deaths do NOT win matches. If the suicider ends the match with a stock left over, the match is theirs.

Yea I can beat her, but she is really good, she beats me too sometimes, I think she deserves the 2nd spot.

Should probably say that the rule set is of my design. Unless you can answer questions on my rule set that is =p

Oh, and I forgot to mention that Team Attack is to be on for any teams match, if you do a seperate teams league anyway.

i'm sorry pichu, but your more than welcomed to challenge #20 or 19...just fight your way up the ladder.  I only did 20 names i knew.

If anyone is new to brawl and if we have enough players, we will expand to 25 or 30 listings.
