Anyone who thinks the English voices are bad have never heard the Japanese voices. Often times bad dubs are so common place that people believe the voices are worse even when they're better. No offense, but Japanese voice actors must have very little talent since it seems that almost all Japanese voices from Naruto to Sonic the Hedgehog sound exactly the same.

Hell, if you watch the Japanese Naruto and listen to the Japanese voices in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, below is a pretty safe assumption:

Naruto=Sonic

Sasuke=Shadow

Sakura=Amy (or Rouge, haven't listened to the voices in a while)

Besides that, I was watching one of the trailers wherein Kakashi does the Chidori, stabs Naruto in the chest with it, then flings him up in the air and stabs him several more times until slamming him into the ground (or something along those lines). And it took up about 1/5 of Naruto's healthbar.

Not that I'm complaining, just interesting.

If you think all japanese voices sound the same you really have no understanding of the language, and yeah, 99% of the time the Japanese voices are far better.  The only time I can ever think of English voice actors actually improving on the Japanese was Spirited Away, where they actually added something to the movie.  There are a couple times it was equal (which WoW mentioned above), but no other times it was better.

On the specials: They mentioned in an interview a while back that they didn't want people to wint he game on just special attacks.  It takes all skill out of the game.

FMA Had a better english dub, IMO, along with a few others that I can't think of at the moment

If there are ever any english words in a Japanese Dub, they are ALWAYS Slaughtered. (example: Death Note)

I wasn't talking about how they would or wouldn't win the game based on specials, but on how they are almost always made up and more DBZ-styled in the Ultimate Ninja games, and almost never go with what would or could happen in the series...

Although I'm not a huge Naruto fan, this game looks fantastic!

This looks like a great game.

Magical Lyrical Girl Nanoha (original, A's, and StrikerS) features weapons that speak English and those English speaking weapons are quite amazingly the best English VA'ing I've ever heard in a Japanese dub (even if the script writing was clearly Japanese...).

Note:  The hammer (Graf Eisen) is actually speaking German.

Meh, it was better than most, but still, they added in a bunch of sounds that weren't there (Axcel-le Star-a, Shoot-a! starlight-ah ) Replaced all ers with a's (Break-a), and even removed some syllables (Countdoen)

And of course, when excited, they tend to mix their R's with L's (starlight... BLAHKER!!!)

Hmm... The hammer (Graf Eisen) seems to switch between German and English (numbers in German are not the same as english)

I was talking purely about the weapons, not the characters themselves.  And only the staff was conting in that video I believe.

Oh. Well the weapons are good, but they don't seem to be Japanese VA's. Are you sure that they are?

And BTW, I got the staff mixed up with the Hammer. I couldn't tell the difference.

I like the english dubs in Nausicaa, and in Cowboy Bebop. I think it really depends on which you start watching a series or movie in. If you start with one, 9 times outta ten that's the one you'll prefer.

...

graphics look phenominal, is this a multiplat?

...not much time to post anymore, used to be awesome on here really good fond memories from VGchartz...

PSN: Skeeuk - XBL: SkeeUK - PC: Skeeuk

really miss the VGCHARTZ of 2008 - 2013...

That's the thing.  The weapons sound really really good for Japanese VA's.  Raging Heart makes one slip-up in the entire first series so they're definitely Japanese... just uncharacteristically proficient Japanese.
