I disagree with people's points all the time.  But I never throw around personal insults like SOME Sony fans on this site do.  It is commendable that you've pulled them up in this thread.  But for every time they are pulled up, there are five times they are not. THAT is why this thread is requesting more active modding in the Microsoft forums.

Sure the Too Human stuff is warranted - the game's got some bad impressions so far; but do we really need to have every jrpg thread stomped by "ff13 will pwn all, 360 jrpgs are all poor quality moneyhatted games" - that's the motto a good chunk of guys are spamming all over. Heck, we've even had here a mod stating that Dead Rising being exclusive isn't a huge deal since there's a half-decent cellphone version of it.

Srsly. I'm not gonna link to the post because I'm not interested on raising that kind of shit tho. I'd just be happy if the same standards that are held over the other sections of the forums were held here as well. Because I doubt I'd get away with shitting on the ps3 every day over at the sony forums with a new account called "I-paid-600$-for-no-games" or "rumble pack sold separately, 50$" or some other anti-sony meme.





Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

Aside from a few PS3 fanboys constantly trolling, I don't think it's out of control. PS3 is enjoying ww sales greater than the 360 so it's normal the arrogance among fanboys is starting to show, just like Sony showing its arrogance when PS1 and PS2 were the top dogs.

PS3 was a complete joke until the blu-ray trojan strategy won that format war and instantly, the PS3 looked more desirable, videophiles started to purchase PS3 as their bluray players, and established exclusive games (prologue and mgs) started to surface. With the win in home video, Sony refocus their strategy to gaming once again.

this is most comperable to the psp-ds situation (although ps3 and 360 make less money than the psp does).  both systems are doing generally well in units sold.  however, compared to the leader they look pathetic.  the problem for ms is that they were considered to have been handed this generation on a golden platter by having a full year headstart, while sony is now considered to have essentially lost two years due to a crappy first year.

in conclusion:  its a lot based off of perception, but ms missed their chance at glory while sony is recovering from missing it.

Ok...this statement...which a half-truth...is just wrong.

This site was far more anti-sony/anti-Nintendo long before thehre were no 360 fans.  The bottom line is that Microsoft does not have as many fans as Nintendo and Sony.  And if you disagree with that statement I would point you in the direction of console sales history.  What fans Nintendo lost over the last few generations became sony gamers for the most part....and are slowly returning to their roots.

 

 

epic fail: this site has always been more nintendo friendly, I mean Oii was wiifan before he was oii and its his site!

and the game ratings have always been higher for nintendo and less for MS and Sony.

these are facts and I still love this site own all three nex gen consoles and dont care which one wins actually I win as a gamer, and be secure in your own console and enjoy your games.

Someone else's oppinion shouldnt sway your good times as a gamer!

Not sure how being first guarantees the most sales, but if you say so.  Also not sure how M$ missed their chance at glory.  They have the best library of games by far and are continuing to bring compelling games to the system.  M$ is doing great right now.
