Any publicity is good for a game. i bet there are some people who have never heard of Too Human now have heard of it by seeing the threads on here. No publicity is the worst. Being unknown sucks.

Everyone that reads this kind of stuff already knows about the game. This kind of press is damning for a game. Reviews mean more, so we'll see what the actual scores are soon. Scores do effect sales.

That's a shame. I'm a big fan of Silicon Knights, and I really thought they could make this game more than just an average Diablo clone. Maybe I was wrong.

@ bardicverse: After developing Eternal Darkness, Silicon Knights collaborated with Kojima Productions on MGS: Twin Snakes. They haven't developed anything since, so Too Human will be their first release since 2004.

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."

why does everyone care about this game SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much as if it's the 360's saving grace? if it turns out to be a "Haze" or "Lair"..........who cares?

I find this to be a little odd... Like people have said, there are games like Bullet Witch, Vampire Rain, Bomberman Act Zero, Hour of Victory, etc. that don't have near the finished look and feel that Too Human has. Unfortunately I think this game will get more critical reviews then if it had not gone through 10 years of development and had not been shown in 2006. It should be reviewed for what it is, not its history.

I only wish reviewers were more neutral coming into reviews and assessing things. Reviewers hand out 10's like candy to GTA, Halo, MGS, etc. From what I have seen so far, Too Human should be in the 8-8.5 range when it comes out. RPG fans should be on the high side and action fans on the low side.

The reviewers would be neutral.  The game has serious issues that will prevent it from becoming the triple A game it could have been

We will only know that when the final, "Gold" game ships.  I'm not saying they are right or wrong, but the previews for Haze, Lair, Vampire Rain, etc. weren't near as harsh.  Reviewers for some reason are pre-reviewing this game in their previews much more then others.

While I won't make any serious predictions on this game, I will say that I really doubt that it is the "worst".

Well I'd say the worst game I've played in the last 5 years was Zack and Wiki. It just depends on which games you play. That is odd, though, considering Eurogamer has to review bad games.

Whether you like a game or not is one thing, but to say so readily that any one game is the worst in so-and-so time period is another.

While people are welcome to their opinions, when one expresses their opinion they are also exposing something of them selves... like taste in games and bredth of experiences.

Using superlatives(or not) also reveals attributes about the users character.

I would say: (Optional qualifier: I think, I believe, etc) Zack and Wiki is a good game.  Sins of a Solar Empire is one of my favorite games.

(BTW, use of parantheticals, abreviations, slang and latin dongles are all also good ways to learn about a person.)

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

I was hoping this game would turn out good. Maybe they'll get it next time.

We don't need a new thread for every negative article about the game. As a general rule if there is an active thread on a subject you should add it to that.
