I think its a firmware full on win for Sony - although for me personally (as a I tend to stick to in-game music and prefer SP to MP) the clock and google search are bigger news than in-game XMB and Trophies (although I admit I will probably put some fair effort into gathering the buggers - damn leveling systems to hell!).

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

so still no voice chat or game invites??  the two most used features of this type on live by me.

in my opinion those kind of features are the reason why xbox live will always be one step ahead of psn. psn would need a new structure and all that crap, and will...well, cost money.

It looks very nice. Looking forward to it.

It's going to depend on how the trophies system really work.

Like do you need to be connected online to earn trophies ( like accomplishments in DMC4) or can it easilly be hacked like on 360 by getting someone's else save ?

What is going to suck is that I am afraid any work I already did on previous games would have to be redone to earn trophies for them ( that's the feeling I get when I see Warhawk will get a patch and you will have to replay the game... Not sure I'm ready to redo 1000/1000 accomplishments in DMC4 or getting another Big Boss Emblem in MGS4 ( although I saw this coming and kept a save shortly behind the end of my Big Boss Emblem run and might be able to use that lol)...)

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

Ahh.. but remember my friend. this is only In-game XMB v1.00 and trophy v0.90. More will come.

OT: I don;t have it so I don't know

Not trying to be a fanboy. Of course, it's hard when you own the best console eve... dang it

The fact that the trophy system allows you to level up your gamer profile is great. not just some random number that doesn't feel like you overall acomlplished something. its like having an RPG with no leveling up. hopefully higher levels will actually mean something like beta invites or something.

I am extremely happy to be able to play any metal gear soundtrack I want with MGS4, Instead of only having a few songs from each on the ipod. (also i can use the solid eye at the same time).

I can't think of anything else I need when playing online, so yeah.
