3. The marketshare has been divided up because of games like forza 2 and 3 as well.

4. There is not one game on PS3 that sold over 5 million yet, 10 milion might be farfetch'd.

5. The American crowd is definitely not in Sony's favor in this situation

Games like GT are system sellers , they create install base so already points   1 &2 are defeated ( point 1 defeats itself out of stupidity).

GT will pretty much sell regardless of competition , it has brand name , reputation and a history of excellent sales performance.Each GT has sold at least 9.3 million copies

This is true, but Racers do not seem as though they are liked as much as then...this is the era of the shooter

By this very simple deduction I am lead to believe that GT5 will easily sell over 10 million copies, and (imo) it will.

Every GT has outsold all Halo games, so I don't see why this will be any different.

I'm deffinently buying gt5.....

I say around 7-8 million unless it is force bundled, in which case add 500k-1m

It will probably be the PS3s best seller, just outstripping GTAIV.
