I didn't like the d-pad, or the positioning of X, or Y. The analogue sticks could have done with a click feature (like other controllers), loved the hexaganol guides around the analogue sticks (especially helpful in games like Monkey Ball).

Anything felt good after the PS1 controller.

Ugly but works very well.

I didn't like the shoulder buttons but it still is the best controller of the last generation.

i think it was the best controller last gen followed by the redesign of the xbox controller....the original xbox control was horrid however and i never liked the ps2 controller

a great controller that works well in brawl!

Brilliant but the ridges on the stick hurt my thumb after a while.

amen to that still using it for Mario Kart:wii , Brawl, and VC games.

the n64 controller is the best classical controller ever made!
the wii classic controller should be like the n64

It was my fav controller last gen, I have got used to the Z button and everything else didnt take any getting used to as it was just perfect, apart from the D-pad. Could of done with Zl and Zr instead of just one Z button.

Sony's pad is so close to being amazing but they wont change a few basic things so it remains the worst.
