But if these are normal sales, as you suggest, then Sony is sitting pretty since they'll still be beating MS by 40k a week :P

 ya i know but its not good enough to catch with total sales of 360.

but this is the slow season for sales, if the percentage stays true for the more ramped up sales periods of the year I think they'll be fine. Now this is totally negating all the stuff both 360 and PS3 will do to try and increase sales, but I'm just suggesting that having a normal week where you beat the competition is doing just fine.

 when the holiday season arrive there will be more 360 games & exclusives than ps3 .. am i right.

True....but we've seen how little an effect games can have on the sales of the hardware. Also I'd like to call into question the idea that MGS4 had a much smaller effect than assumed. If I recall MGS4 actually had a larger effect on PS3 sales then GTA4, while obviously GTA4 was the game that sold much more. I don't think that the boost from MGS4 was a failure at all.

On that note, many would have presumed a larger boost for GTA4 then MGS4, so I don't know if you can tell me LBP will have less of an effect before you actually see the numbers, since you have no idea how it will really affect sales.

And on a final note, I'll be curious to see how long it'll be before we can get through a day on these forums without one of these doom and gloom PS3 threads popping up.

Not to sound like a dick, but I really think your underestimating the power of the PS3 brand, what the PS3 offers, and what games that it has / are coming out.

The 360 this year has:

Too Human, Forza 3, Infinite Undiscovery, Tales of Vesperia, Halo Wars, and Gears of War 2- a very strong lineup.

The PS3 has:

Little Big Planet, GT 5 Update, Valkyria of the Chronicles, Disagea 3, White Knight Chronicles, Final Fantasy XIII (Japan only rumored), Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, Siren Blood Curse, Socom: Confrontation, an exclusive Tales game, and Resistance 2.  That is quite a mouthful, and not only that, but firmware update 2.40.

Both systems sound like winners to me.  The hearts of fanboys, and console monogamists however, are in dire need of a wakeup call.

the tales game appears to be nowhere near true, although there's a slim chance but I wouldn't count on it. You listed the Naruto game twice.

I do love that you realize both systems have good lineups though, many have issue figuring that out.

the main reason ps3 sell more is the blueray & some europe countries still belive ps3 is better & have more games like what happend here in my country they buy the ps3 just form the name ?? they didnt accept the fact that there is a console have better games than ps3 ... some of them think that GTA 4 is only for ps3 and didnt belive there is other console have it ?? strange.
