Expect 20-30k more every week, when mgs4 bundles would be in stock regularly.

Here's the problem with taking you seriously.  Someone in this thread just showed you a link that the gap between Xbox 360s and PS3s is closing in terms of sales.  However, your response is, "its about time sony its about time."  Not only did it come off rather childishly, but it lacked any and all punctuation.  Making me wonder if you sign check with crayons (oh I kid )

On topic:

The PS3 sales will be given a proper boost when the bundles are back in stock.  Nationwide, they have sold out at multiple retailers.  There is a reason Microsoft dropped the price on the 360.  PS3 sales are catching up proper and people are genuinely interested in the console. From a purely economical standpoint, both companies officially have something that appeals to consumers at sane price points.

However, I will shake my hand with you one on thing, it is time for Sony to get aggressive.  They've shown that the system has games, now the battle is in the world of mindshare and delivery.  Can Sony get firmware 2.40 out in time?  Can Sony brand Life with Playstation before its too late?  When will the  PS store update be up and running with Playstation 1 titles that are worth playing (Japan has Einhander, Xenogears, and Rakugaki Showdown)?  Is Home ever going to come out?

The problem Sony has, is with price.  When people see 399.99, they automatically assume downgraded PS3.  The same sort of apathy goes to the Xbox 360 Arcade bundle (only the Arcade unit is not worth getting).

My biggest gripe personally- Why the fuck does the PS3 not have a bundled headset?  Sony is concurrently re-evalutating its strategy.  You can see that with all the price changes, bundles, delivery of exclusives (Socom, Warhawk, and Siren are through PSN), and multiple bundled SKUs.  They are officially understanding that being a glorified CE device (the PS3 is an incredible device), is not going to win the masses.

If Sony really wanted to beat the 360 in terms of sales, they would drop the price in the UK by 50 euro, include a fully backwards compatible unit, and bundle Winning Eleven.  However, you, me, and just about everyone else knows on this forum, that Sony wants to cut down on that 3 billion.

In the minds of gamers in the United States, 399.99 is still too much for a console.  I am console Agnostic, but I have to tip my hat to Sony for getting up to speed quicker than anyone thought they would.  599.99 - just LAST year.  They still lack the BASICS, I mean, Live is still 1000X better, but thats all supposed to? be rectified by the end of this month.   Sony is catching up, and proving themselves slowly, however, they need to get the price down too.  They are in quite a catch 22.  Question is- for any and all of you:

Would you buy a PS3 bundlede with Little Big Planet for 349.99 even if you do own an Xbox 360

Console Agnostic since 2001.
