Diablo Battlechest is now 23rd on Amazon's videogame bestsellers. I bet we'll see Diablo II in a few top charts again, because of Diablo 3's announcement.

From that 20 minute video, he was able to explode the minions he summoned to do some more damage.

I was Diablo fan till Blizzard released the second game. I really hope that it does not become like Diablo 2. Does anyone know when they are going to release it?

Excellent. All is right with the world again. =D

(as long as he can explode enemy corpses as well....)
Seriously though, I think corpse explosion was easily D2's best spell.

I'll accept it when blizzard announces no more Necro . Until then Necro has a small chance !

Well in the video the enemy corpses disappeared, so it doesn't seem as likely that corpse explosion would be in there. Maybe just the minion explosion...

They are just playing it to safe with keeping the same old formula. The game is obviously using the same engine that Starcraft 2 will use. Which graphically isnt that amazing.
Of course that will alow many fans of this game be able to play it without having to get a new rig which is a good thing I guess.

I just want some more innovation from blizzard because we know that can do it.
They created these games when they were innovative plus WoW.

 They have shown off how much of the game exactly? Their design philosophy is similar to Sid Meier's one-third proven, one-third improved, and one-third new rule according to Rob Pardo. The removal of potions means the game has to be vastly reworked to make it workable. They also want great epic boss battles like other action-adventure titles which was entirely absent in Diablo 2. I am all for griping that the game is too much of the same, but it was announce like 2 days ago! Give them some time to actually show something off before we start whining its not good enough!
