The ff series is HIGHLY overrated. The only people who are like "FF pwns everything" are either A never played much rpgs or/and B Never played much FF rpgs. There are many bad ff games, and many rpgs are better than the best FFs, so I don't think we should even not their statements about where rpgs will go.

Edit: ALso its not even the highest selling rpg. I.E pokemon, various wrpgs, even some series like dragon quest and kh(kinda like a spinoff of FF) could compete.

I'll take any new BoF. With the way the series has changed its mechanics so often they could do pretty much anything with it.

I'd prefer Golden Sun DS... The thing is like they said, they can only make one game at a time. >_>

There is a market for a Breath of Fire sequel. I would buy a BoF Wii first day, since I consider BoF 1&2 to be better than all the SNES FF games (except for 3/6).

Ah, you must be talking about the FF7-age. I think even they need cutting some slack sometimes. They're usually just being nostalgia-fags, just like alot of the older generation to from the 8 & 16bit days.

IMO they should do a direct sequel to 2. Even with Township smashing the gate eventually Deathevn would be able to escape again. It set itself up for a sequel too well.

DQ was the only BoF that had elements to seperate it from other JRPGs.  BoF 1,2,3,4 were nothing special in terms of story or gameplay

Um I want CAPCOM to make Breath of Fire.
