ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

Eh. Wait till the press release during E3. I sincerely hope not. That's like having to wait two years between two acts of the same movie.

If so, I'd rather just put it in the back of my mind until the game's ready to download. Or maybe just play through Episode One and Two a couple more times.

Half Life 2 was awesome. Episode 1 was average. Episode 2 was awesome. i hope Episode 3 is awesome too.

I wonder if the portal gun will be used in Half Life 2 Episode 3? That would be cool. Portal was a great game on the Orange Box.

It's not going to the PS3 unless EA or another developer does the port as Valve has already gone on record as saying they simply have neither the resources (manpower) nor the inclination to develop directly for the PS3.

I'm guessing that Episode 3 will have to be an XBL store only purchase since it seems very unlikely they'd do a $30 Xbox retail release along a $20 Games for Windows release (very likely). Unless they want to do another release of the Orange Box with the addition of Episode Three at full retail, which would be a real bit hit with all those who already bought Orange Box.

Personally, I'll be buying it through Steam. I'll buy Orange Box again since it looks better on my computer even though I bought the 360 version .

I think Valve already has a full adventure game in the works with the character from Portal as the protagonist. Think of Portal as a highly successful test run for a potential new series.
